How to Keep Your Boyfriend's Attention

!±8± How to Keep Your Boyfriend's Attention

One issue that many women face with a boyfriend is that he seems to start to not give you the same attention as he used to. To some extent this happens because he is getting used to you or there are some issues in the relationship like problems or commitment that is being avoided. There are a few things that you can do to make sure he gives you a bit more attention.

First of all, keep your time that you do have with him interesting. Having interesting conversations about things you both enjoy. Plan activities that will be fun for both of you to do. It's is acceptable to plan to do things with him even though you are the woman. If you make the time he has with you interesting and fun, he will want to be around more often.

Continue to speak your mind. This doesn't mean to be overly fussy or complain about everything. What it means is that you should continue to be your own person. Men don't want to give attention to someone who always submits to every idea and thought. They want to be with someone who is their own person. If you want attention, let him know.

Be sure to not be too immature. If you are randomly emotional with you or angry all the time, he will avoid you. Time together has to be healthy and pleasant. If you feel alone, don't be desperate with him at all.

Do your best to be respectful. This means that you treat him well and don't call him names. Don't go through his stuff and snoop for information. Be sure to have clear boundaries that you don't cross. This will make him more comfortable with you.

Keep busy if he doesn't seen to want to give you attention. There is no sense is being alone at home hoping he will spend time with you. He will either come around and want to be with you or you will have your life to live. Either way, being busy is best.

Cold Relief - Which is Better, a Humidifier or a Vaporizer?

!±8± Cold Relief - Which is Better, a Humidifier or a Vaporizer?

If you live on a temperate country chances are you will have experience low humidity. It can make breathing just a tiny bit laborious. If you suffer colds and other upper respiratory ailments low humidity can certainly make it worse.

Humidifiers and vaporizers both address the issue on the double whammy of low humidity and colds. Read on to find out if one is really better than the other.

A quick recap on what humidifiers are is a good way to start this argument. Humidifiers are devices which introduce humidity to an environment (preferably one that needs more humidity) by releasing water vapors into the air.

Humidity, after all is the measurement of the amount of water in the air. It usually does this by spraying water into a fine mist with a system that may involve impellers, ultrasonic waves and many more.

When previously very dry (low humidity) air is treated by a humidifier it makes it easier to breathe. This moisturizing effect in the air is what makes humidifiers effective.

One complaint about humidifiers is that it is very difficult to control the amount of humidity they introduce. Too much humidity in a room can ruin the rooms paint, wood and even make it harder to breathe. Humidifiers also are a magnet for fungus and molds.

A Vaporizer effectively does the same action that the humidifier does but does it with heat. While the humidifier releases cool mist vapors a typical vaporizer releases hot vapors.

Vaporizers are better than humidifiers in two ways. First is that the nasty moisture that a typical humidifier overproduces is eliminated. Vaporizers have much less chance of spreading molds.

Another thing they remove is germs. By boiling water a great majority of bacteria dies and never gets released to the area around the vaporizer. A humidifier can spread bacteria that have grown on it its medium into different parts of the room.

The bad thing about traditional vaporizers is that they tend to be scalding hot. This makes them dangerous to kids, pets and adults who do not know the location of a hot vaporizer.

For cold relief and other upper respiratory ailments both humidifiers and vaporizers work. It's a matter of preference which one you get. Both of them have their advantages and disadvantages that you may have to get around with.

Effective Ways To Treat Allergies

!±8± Effective Ways To Treat Allergies

Allergies is a health problem that many of us are forced to contend with when the seasons change. This is when our eyes won't stop watering, our chest closes up, and our nose begins to run. Most of us have addressed this since we were children and others only experience in particular climates. Whatever the reason might be there are ways to fight it.

Medications

The first thing that the majority of individuals will try are over the counter medications. There are many brands such as Claritin and Benadryl that are produced with particular components. These can target the histamines and nullify the symptoms. The problem with these is that they may make us feel drowsy and for a few people they are not strong enough.

Prescription Medicines

If you have more serious symptoms than you have to speak with your doctor. They are able to give you stronger medication that will work quicker. Be careful that you use this in moderation. Also be sure that you are fully aware of each of the side effects that may come about.

Natural Treatments

When in doubt why not try something a bit more natural. When your sinuses are backed up the best way to alleviate the pressure is to place a cold compress on them. This will soothe the pain and the swelling. Also you may try breathing in steam to assuage the mucous build up.

The best thing to use is a warm mist humidifier. This will increase the moisture in the room and aid to get rid of any obstructions in your chest and nose. You could utilize plain water or buy special inhalant treatments that is distributed throughout the room.

Cool Mist Vs Warm Mist Humidifier

!±8± Cool Mist Vs Warm Mist Humidifier

When you are sick you want to use the best possible way to get better. This is where the debate of cool mist vs warm mist humidifier units comes into play. A humidifier in general is said by the National Institute of Health to be the most effective way to alleviate nasal and sinus congestion. Afflictions that attack the nose, mouth and throat include but are not limited to, the flu, colds, sinus infections and strep throat. If the tunnels and passages in your head get clogged this could lead to headaches and an overall feeling of stuffiness and being unable to breathe. While you might try hot drinks and soup in addition to over the counter, herbal or doctor prescribed medicines, humidifiers should be a part of your regimen. But sometimes it's hard to know what to choose in the decision of cool mist vs warm mist humidifier units.

Humidifiers whether cool mist or warm function in similar ways, to add moisture to the air. But where the difference comes is what the temperature of the mist does to help alleviate your issues. Warm or steam humidifiers are better at decongesting due to the fact that warmer water vapor can more effectively permeate and soften mucous membranes. Conversely, cool humidifiers are better at relieving pain and swelling in the nose and throat. Medical inhalant can be put into most steam humidifiers and vaporizers. Delivery through the air is the most effective especially when dealing with nose and throat issues.

There are three different types of cool mist humidifiers: evaporative, ultrasonic and impeller. Ultrasonic humidifiers create cool mist through the use of ultrasonic vibrations, evaporative humidifiers use a fan to expel water through the air in small particles, and impellers do the same thing at just a higher rate of speed. Warm mist or steam humidifiers boil water which then rises into the air to moisten it.

Drawbacks to the decision of cool mist vs warm mist humidifier units are as follows: warm mist humidifiers can get extremely hot and burn small children or people that are not careful with the unit; cool humidifiers on the other hand work at lower temperatures and therefore are more likely to be a breeding ground for germs and bacteria to spread into the air; evaporative humidifiers can also be a water absorbent wick filter which can become dirty and spread more bacteria. You should consult a professional for a full list of pros and cons in the decision between cool mist vs warm mist humidifier units. Here is a great site I found with a lot of good information on humidifiers.
